The Role

As BD Director for the US, you will own revenue strategy and execution across the region. You will combine disciplined farming with aggressive hunting to expand institutional relationships, drive new business, and strengthen long-term account value. The role demands someone with deep experience across TradFi and DeFi, strong deal instincts, and a proven record of raising capital and closing high-impact partnerships.

This position suits someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, moves fast, and understands how to build trust with sophisticated counterparties across the US market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead revenue growth across the US through a balanced farming and hunting strategy.
• Manage and deepen relationships with core customer groups including UHNWIs, family offices, VCs, hedge funds, and institutional partners.
• Originate, structure, and close high-value product and partnership deals.
• Drive fundraising initiatives and support capital-raising efforts with targeted institutional partners.
• Deliver revenue and TVL targets for the US region.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline with disciplined qualification and forecasting.
• Partner with SDR, product, and leadership teams to strengthen lead quality, positioning, and conversion.
• Represent the project at conferences, industry events, and investor engagements.
• Track market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in business development or institutional sales, with at least 2 years in crypto or digital assets.
• Demonstrated strength in both farming and hunting, including full-cycle deal execution.
• Proven fundraising experience and history of working with institutional capital.
• Deep knowledge of TradFi and DeFi markets and products.
• Strong network across institutional finance, crypto funds, and strategic partners in the US.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and deliver against ambitious targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
