Our client is pioneering the world’s first Layer-One Bitcoin stablecoin, backed by BTC. Their innovative protocol allows Bitcoin holders to access a Bitcoin-native stablecoin secured against their BTC—without surrendering custody or leaving the Bitcoin blockchain.
Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead marketing efforts, drive adoption, and build a strong global brand presence for our client’s protocol and stablecoin.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth of a groundbreaking financial innovation in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The ideal candidate will develop high-impact marketing strategies, create engaging content, host community discussions, and represent the brand at major industry events worldwide.
This role requires close collaboration with a skilled and experienced team operating at the forefront of Bitcoin development, ensuring the protocol’s expansion within Bitcoin DeFi and the broader crypto landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy – Design and implement comprehensive marketing initiatives to drive adoption, grow the community, and position the protocol as a leader in Bitcoin DeFi.
• Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership – Build credibility through strategic messaging, PR campaigns, and industry insights, ensuring the protocol and stablecoin are recognized as key innovations in the crypto space.
• Bridge Technical and Creative Storytelling – Work alongside product and engineering teams to translate complex blockchain concepts into compelling, accessible content.
• Community Building & Advocacy – Engage actively with the Bitcoin and crypto communities via online platforms (Twitter, Discord, Telegram) and real-world events to foster trust, loyalty, and advocacy.
• Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Monitor industry trends, analyze competitors, and leverage user feedback to refine marketing strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
• Build & Lead a Marketing Team – Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, aligning efforts with clear KPIs and OKRs.
• Oversee Budget & ROI – Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment from campaigns and initiatives.
• Industry Representation – Attend and speak at key crypto conferences, organize community events, and participate in thought leadership discussions to enhance the protocol’s global presence.
Requirements:
• Proven Experience in Crypto Marketing – Strong track record in content creation, social media engagement, and community building, particularly on Twitter and other crypto-native platforms.
• Passion for Crypto & DeFi – A deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, with an appreciation for decentralization and censorship resistance being a plus.
• Demonstrated Marketing Success – Experience designing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive measurable growth.
• Exceptional Communication Skills – Ability to simplify technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical & Data-Driven Approach – Proficiency in using analytics tools to track campaign performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Event & Community Engagement – Comfortable hosting discussions, leading online forums, and speaking at in-person and virtual events as a brand ambassador.
Compensation:
• Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
• Equity: Meaningful token allocation with significant growth potential.
