Our client, a leading blockchain and cryptocurrency company headquartered in Switzerland, is seeking a Head of People to lead its global people and culture strategy. This role is crucial in shaping and fostering a high-performance, remote-first work environment, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent in the blockchain industry.

 

As the Head of People, you will define, implement, and scale HR policies, employee experience initiatives, and talent acquisition strategies, working closely with leadership to build a world-class, decentralized workforce.

Key Responsibilities

People Strategy & Culture: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports business goals, fosters a strong company culture, and enhances employee experience.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Lead global recruitment efforts, employer branding, and talent pipelines to attract the best talent in blockchain, crypto, and fintech.

Performance & Development: Implement performance management systems, career development frameworks, and leadership training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits: Design and optimize competitive compensation (including crypto-based rewards) and benefits structures tailored to a remote-first, global workforce.

Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure HR policies align with global employment laws, manage employee relations, and maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.

HR Technology & Analytics: Leverage HR data and analytics to drive decision-making, track employee engagement, and improve HR processes.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Champion inclusivity in hiring, promotions, and workplace policies to create a diverse and equitable work environment.

Remote Work & People Operations: Optimize and innovate remote work practices, ensuring smooth communication, collaboration, and employee engagement across multiple time zones.

Qualifications & Experience

 • 5+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in fast-growing tech, fintech, blockchain, or Web3 companies.

• Proven track record in scaling HR functions in a globally distributed workforce.

• Strong knowledge of global employment laws, compensation structures, and HR compliance.

• Experience in designing and implementing remote-first HR strategies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Data-driven approach to HR analytics, talent management, and employee engagement.

• Passion for the blockchain and crypto space is a strong plus.
