Our client is building the next-generation infrastructure layer on Solana, enabling a fundamentally new level of transaction reliability, design freedom, and scalability for developers. As a high-velocity, technical-first team, they are reshaping how onchain systems operate — and they’re looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to join them at a pivotal moment.
 
About the Role
As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead the company’s go-to-market efforts through mainnet launch and beyond. Your mission: drive brand awareness, ecosystem adoption, and community growth — while translating complex infrastructure innovation into compelling narratives that resonate with builders, validators, and institutions.
 
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands Web3 deeply, and is excited to build from the ground up.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Strategy & Leadership
• Define and execute an end-to-end marketing strategy aligned with company OKRs, including brand positioning, GTM plans, and growth initiatives
• Own and elevate the company’s brand within the Solana and broader Web3 ecosystem
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, BD, and product to shape messaging and amplify product launches
• Drive ecosystem awareness and integration post-mainnet launch through strategic initiatives and partnerships
 
Content & Ecosystem Marketing
• Lead content strategy across all channels: website, blog, social media, technical docs, and research
• Turn complex infrastructure concepts into compelling, accessible storytelling for multiple audiences
• Build and scale community programs for developers, validators, and institutional players
• Develop and manage relationships with media, ecosystem partners, and industry influencers
• Establish a data-driven marketing culture and use insights to refine campaigns and maximize ROI
 
Team Building & Operations
• Hire, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing team including content, social, and community roles
• Oversee marketing operations: project management, performance tracking, and budget allocation
• Partner with founders to lead thought leadership and elevate the public profile of the leadership team
• Ensure cohesive brand execution across all touchpoints and channels
 
 
About You
 
Must-Haves
• 7+ years in marketing with 3+ in leadership, preferably in high-growth tech or Web3 startups
• Strong technical marketing background with proven ability to communicate complex blockchain concepts
• Deep Web3 and crypto ecosystem fluency — especially across crypto Twitter, validator networks, and builder communities
• Experience leading or playing a key role in a successful Token Generation Event (TGE)
• Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with a track record of performance-driven marketing decisions
 
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience within the Solana ecosystem and existing relationships in its validator/dev communities
• Background in infrastructure, developer tooling, or marketing technical products to builders
• Prior experience at early-stage Web3 startups or protocol teams
