Position Overview

Our client is seeking an exceptional Head of People to join the leadership team and design the human capital strategy that will scale the organization through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Manager, this role will own the entire people strategy across a global, distributed team, while building and leading a world-class People function from the ground up.

The Head of People will shape the employee experience, develop the team, and strengthen organizational health. A key focus will be designing and implementing talent management systems that unlock potential, foster professional growth, and ensure unity with the company’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, grow, and develop the People team (currently 4 members across Recruitment and HR Operations).

  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to leadership, driving organizational design, workforce planning, and business growth priorities.

  • Own and scale global recruitment processes to attract top-tier talent.

  • Develop and implement clear career progression frameworks, equipping managers to support growth and performance.

  • Design and roll out employee development programs to foster continuous learning and mobility.

  • Establish and maintain people policies and procedures that ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with company values.

  • Champion a high-performance culture rooted in shared principles and expectations.

  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives through data, feedback, and regular communication.

  • Contribute to long-term organizational strategy, bringing people insights into planning and decision-making.

Requirements

 

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with strong background in Recruitment or Training & Development.

  • 3+ years in a Head of HR or HR Director role.

  • Proven ability to design and implement systems within lean, fast-moving teams.

  • Balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution.

  • High integrity, low ego, and passion for enhancing the employee experience.

  • Strong written communication skills for clear asynchronous guidance and documentation.
