Arbitrage Strategy Lead

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered single family office, founded in 2016, with a Hong Kong office. It invests across global markets through discretionary and systematic strategies, with particular depth in US equities and crypto assets.

The firm is expanding its quantitative trading desk in Hong Kong and is seeking an independent trader to lead and develop cross-exchange triangular arbitrage strategies.

The Role

You will own and run a dedicated trading strategy and account, with access to the firm’s capital, infrastructure, market data and execution support.

Your focus will be identifying, developing and managing cross-exchange triangular arbitrage opportunities, primarily in crypto markets. You will be expected to take responsibility for research, execution, risk management and ongoing strategy improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cross-exchange triangular arbitrage strategies.

• Identify and execute short-duration arbitrage opportunities across spot, futures and related instruments.

• Build and improve research, backtesting and live-trading processes.

• Manage execution, liquidity, fees, slippage, funding and operational risks.

• Monitor strategy performance and adapt models as market structure evolves.

• Work closely with the investment and technology teams on data, infrastructure and execution improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrable live trading experience in crypto arbitrage, market making, high-frequency trading or a closely related systematic strategy.

• A proven strategy with meaningful live track record; experience managing external or proprietary capital is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of crypto market structure, exchange mechanics, order books, liquidity and execution.

• Strong quantitative and programming skills, ideally Python and/or C++.

• Clear ownership mindset and ability to operate independently.

• Willingness to be based in Hong Kong.
