Currently, the focus is on bringing true scalability to Bitcoin. This involves implementing groundbreaking concepts from the BitVM whitepaper and developing an optimized virtual machine (VM) capable of verifying zk-SNARKs on the Bitcoin mainnet. A major milestone was achieved in July 2024 with the verification of the first-ever zk-proof on Bitcoin.

Building on these achievements, the company is expanding BitSNARK to support trustless bridging from Bitcoin and connect it to other ecosystems via "Grail," a solution designed to unlock the next phase of Bitcoin scalability. With Grail nearing completion, the company has secured several major partnerships and is preparing for key integrations with leading ecosystems.

Role Overview

The company seeks a highly skilled Blockchain Integration Engineer to join its dynamic, fully remote team. This role will report to the Lead DevRel and offers the opportunity to work on complex blockchain architectures, including rollups and bridging solutions. The primary responsibility will be managing integrations with partners, focusing on the Grail bridge, to ensure seamless collaboration and implementation across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Lead DevRel.
• Assist with the daily integration processes with key partners.
• Execute integration roadmaps.
• Contribute to the design of bridging and rollup solutions across various blockchain ecosystems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in blockchain development with a deep understanding of Bitcoin architecture and rollup architecture.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Node.js, Python, Rust, or Solidity, with experience in smart contracts and decentralized protocols.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain integration, chain architecture, and rollup technologies, including L1 consensus, zk-SNARKs, zk-Rollups, or optimistic rollups.
• Experience with cross-chain bridges and understanding of security protocols in blockchain interoperability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex integrations independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with global teams and partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and contributions to Bitcoin scaling solutions, particularly related to BitVM, SNARKs, and cryptography.
• Previous experience in remote work environments with global teams.
