Role Overview

We are partnering with a cutting-edge blockchain project to identify a visionary Project Lead/CEO who will spearhead the market success of a trustless BTC bridge launching on Ethereum. With the technical foundation and team already in place, this leader will focus on driving the project to market, crafting a high-impact growth strategy, and positioning it as the gold standard for BTC representation within the Ethereum ecosystem.

Additionally, we are seeking similar candidates to launch equivalent projects on Solana, Cosmos, and BNB.

 

The ideal candidate will take charge of defining tokenomics, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless integration into the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape. Their ultimate objective is to surpass competitors like WBTC, establishing the bridge as the dominant BTC solution for exchanges, protocols, and users alike.

To ensure optimal outcomes, we are open to structuring the role as a unified leadership position or splitting it into two distinct roles: one focused on technical and product development and the other on marketing and community strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a vision to establish the trustless BTC bridge as a market leader.

• Oversee the development of a go-to-market strategy that leverages technical strengths and addresses market opportunities.

• Design and implement tokenomics that incentivize adoption, liquidity, and long-term value creation within the DeFi ecosystem.

Market Positioning and Growth

• Cultivate strong relationships with DeFi platforms, exchanges, and ecosystem partners to drive widespread adoption.

• Lead business development and partnerships to establish the bridge as a foundational infrastructure for Ethereum.

• Represent the project at industry events, serving as the primary advocate and public figure.

Community and Ecosystem Building

• Build and engage a vibrant community of developers, users, and advocates across social platforms and Ethereum forums.

• Communicate the project’s vision, technical advantages, and value proposition to stakeholders and the broader community.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the technical team to align development milestones with market needs and timelines.

• Ensure seamless collaboration between technical and business teams to meet strategic objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Visionary Leadership: Proven experience leading blockchain or DeFi projects from inception to market success.

• Ethereum Expertise: Deep knowledge of Ethereum’s ecosystem, including DeFi protocols, EigenLayer, stablecoins, and Layer-2 scaling solutions.

• Tokenomics Strategist: Proficiency in designing tokenomics models that drive liquidity and user adoption.

• Community Builder: Strong presence in blockchain communities, with a demonstrated ability to engage and rally developers, users, and partners.

• Execution-Focused: A track record of scaling technically sound projects to measurable market impact.

• Charismatic Advocate: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively represent the project on global platforms.

Options for Role Structure

Option 1: CEO - Combined Role (Preferred)

The Project Lead/CEO will oversee both product development and technical strategy, as well as marketing, growth, and community-building efforts. This individual must excel in strategic vision, operational execution, and public engagement.

Option 2: Split Roles

If needed, the role can be divided into two positions:

• Head of Product & Technical Development: Focused on technical execution and aligning the product with market needs.

• Head of Marketing & Community Growth: Dedicated to driving adoption, forging partnerships, and building the project’s reputation.

Both positions will collaborate closely to achieve the project’s goals.
