Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Chief Blockchain Architect to be the technical visionary and architect of the platform’s blockchain infrastructure. The role involves designing a high-throughput, low-latency, and compliant chain capable of handling massive parallel execution for gaming workloads. This is a founder-level leadership role, combining hands-on engineering with architecture vision and ecosystem design.

Key Responsibilities

Blockchain Architecture & Design
- Architect a casino-grade blockchain optimized for ultra-high TPS, sub-second finality, and low-cost transactions.
- Design parallel execution/sharding strategies to handle gaming-scale on-chain workloads.
- Build a permissioned environment that balances regulatory compliance with developer flexibility.
Ecosystem Infrastructure
- Develop core protocols for randomness, fairness, and gaming logic (slots, table games, wagering, competitions).
- Oversee integration of the token economy powering operators, players, and rewards.
- Enable operator licensing frameworks for compliant third-party casinos.
Innovation & Tooling
- Lead development of AI-powered builder tools for plug-and-play casino creation.
- Drive innovation in interoperability, scalability, and modular architecture.
- Ensure seamless integration with NFTs, rewards systems, and affiliate networks.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with product, compliance, and operations teams to align architecture with business strategy.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class blockchain engineering team.
- Represent the project in technical discussions with regulators, partners, and the developer community.

Requirements

Proven experience as Chief Architect, Head of Engineering, or equivalent in blockchain infrastructure projects (L1/L2, gaming, or high-throughput systems).
Deep expertise in consensus algorithms, distributed systems, and smart contract platforms.
Strong track record in scaling blockchain performance (10k+ TPS, parallel execution, sharding, or equivalent).
Hands-on engineering experience in Rust, Go, C++, or similar performance-critical languages.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in fintech, gaming, or payments.
Experience designing secure randomness/oracle solutions for fairness in gaming.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in casino or gaming infrastructure.
Knowledge of cryptography, ZK proofs, or secure multi-party computation.
Background in AI-driven systems or developer tool ecosystems.
Leadership in a project that achieved global scale (millions of users, high TPS).
