About the Role

We are hiring an Event-Driven Researcher to identify, interpret, and forecast high-impact market catalysts across digital asset markets. This role sits close to the trading desk and focuses on turning real-time information flow into actionable insights that drive short-term positioning and risk decisions.

You will monitor macro events, protocol-level developments, regulatory actions, and crypto-native catalysts, translating complexity into clear, time-sensitive signals. Precision and timing matter. This is a role for someone who stays calm under pressure and thinks in probabilities, not narratives.

What You’ll Do

  • Track and interpret macroeconomic releases, governance votes, protocol upgrades, token unlocks, and regulatory developments.

  • Monitor cross-asset and crypto-native news flow to identify volatility-driving events.

  • Work closely with traders to translate event insights into trading strategies and risk frameworks.

  • Maintain and continuously refine a forward-looking event calendar with actionable timelines.

  • Conduct post-event analysis to improve forecasting accuracy and signal quality.

  • Contribute to tooling and systems that automate event tracking and alerts.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in event-driven research, trading, or market intelligence.

  • Demonstrated ability to extract actionable insight from fast-moving information.

  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity, and volatility dynamics.

  • High situational awareness and comfort operating in real-time environments.

  • Clear communicator who can distil complexity into decisive takeaways.

  • Genuine experience and interest in crypto and digital asset markets.
