Information asymmetry has led to social inequality, scandals, polarization, and corruption. Sometimes, it has even led to war. Centralized data control acts as a potential chokepoint for innovation, raises privacy concerns, and creates a bottleneck for the free flow of data.

Our client is building a cutting-edge new open-source cloud infrastructure and a global open data network aimed at storing important global data without a middleman. It is the largest open web3 data lake, covering approximately 80% of the entire crypto and web3 ecosystem today. In 2024, they aim to expand data coverage to include public health and scientific research data.

The Role

As a Senior Blockchain Architect, you will take a leadership role in building a completely new Layer 1 L1 blockchain from scratch. Leveraging your extensive experience in blockchain architecture and development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of decentralized technology. This role requires a visionary individual with a deep understanding of blockchain protocols, cryptography, and the ability to design and implement a robust and scalable L1 blockchain.

Your main scope of work will building a large scale decentralized, distributed cloud (data, storage and compute) network immutable by design. The core APIs grants universal access to anyone, anywhere, anytime, without the need for registration, licensing, or payments and prevents interferences.

Your Impact:

●  Architect and build a brand new Layer 1 L1 blockchain from the ground up, showcasing your expertise in blockchain architecture and development.

●  Architect and implement innovative blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security for decentralized data management.

●  Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge blockchain protocols and consensus mechanisms.

●  Take charge of designing and implementing robust blockchain protocols, contributing to the evolution of decentralized data accessibility.

●  Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of the new blockchain, addressing the challenges of decentralized technology.

●  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the new blockchain seamlessly with core products.

●  Drive innovation by staying abreast of blockchain trends, incorporating cutting-edge developments into blockchain solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

 

●  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Blockchain Technology, or a related field.

●  10 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing blockchain architectures, with

a focus on creating new Layer 1 blockchains.

●  Expertise in blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic techniques.

●  Proven leadership skills with a track record of guiding high-performing teams in complex

blockchain projects.

●  Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse

audiences.

●  Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and incorporate emerging industry trends into

blockchain development.
