Senior C++ Engineer

Overview

Our client is a leading crypto HFT firm operating high-performance trading infrastructure across major global exchanges. The team trades thousands of markets and processes millions of orders and trades through a globally distributed, latency-sensitive stack.

They are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer with 6–7+ years of professional experience to take ownership of critical components of their low-latency trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize high-performance, low-latency systems in C++

• Develop and maintain exchange connectivity, market data and order execution infrastructure

• Identify and eliminate latency bottlenecks across critical trading paths

• Improve system reliability, scalability and performance under heavy load

• Own production systems from design through deployment and ongoing optimization

• Investigate complex performance and production issues

• Work closely with trading, quant and infrastructure teams on latency-sensitive systems

• Drive technical decisions and contribute to engineering standards across the team

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of professional C++ development experience

• Strong modern C++ knowledge and deep understanding of performance-critical systems

• Proven experience building high-load, low-latency or real-time systems

• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management and network programming

• Solid understanding of Linux internals and performance optimization

• Experience profiling and optimizing systems at microsecond-level latency

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and high-performance networking

• Ability to independently own complex production systems

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Experience in HFT, electronic trading, exchanges, market data or financial infrastructure is highly preferred. Crypto experience is useful but not required.
