VP of Product

The Company

 

An innovative blockchain protocol project is seeking a VP of Product to join its founding team.

Their platform makes it easy to launch custom blockchains with a built-in system for smooth operation. It removes the need to manage complex infrastructure, letting developers focus on creating and improving their chains.

The VP of Product will play a critical role in shaping the product vision, driving strategy, and representing the project externally. This position involves spearheading product development, engaging with the developer community, conducting competitive research, and establishing the protocol as a leader in the AppChain ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product strategy in collaboration with the founding team and other stakeholders.

• Act as the outward-facing representative of the product, presenting at conferences, participating in interviews, and producing thought leadership content such as blogs and articles.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis on comparable solutions, including Substrate/Polkadot, Cosmos SDK, Avalanche Subnets, Polygon Edge, and OP Stack.

• Serve as the customer advocate, channeling feedback and insights into the engineering and development process.

• Collaborate on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.

• Build and maintain relationships with key ecosystem and industry stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption.

• Author and publish content that positions the protocol as a leader in decentralized AppChain infrastructure.

• Participate in governance discussions and ecosystem initiatives where required.

• Establish and track quarterly and annual goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, strategy, or a technology leadership role.

• Prior experience in Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or developer-focused products is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, Avalanche, and Polygon ecosystems is a significant advantage.

• Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively, with examples of published thought leadership or content.

• Background in protocol development, AppChains, or developer tools is a strong plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
