Associate Engineering Manager

Our client is passionate about building software that solves problems. They count on its software engineering team to build cutting-edge solutions which grant our users a smooth experience in the crypto-space . As they expand its internal development team, they are seeking an Associate Engineering Manager to support the Engineering Manager, mentor and guide a fully distributed engineering team while partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Business Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of individual streams of work within the team.
• Drive problem-solving meetings.
• Enforce code repository best practices.
• Mentor the professional and technical development of the team members.
• Be involved in hiring processes for the engineering team.
• In addition to being involved in hiring, also being responsible for the onboarding process of new engineers.
• Being able to support the Engineer Manager to manage the team dynamics and bring out the best in them.
• Giving continuous and constructive feedback on all the things.
• Provide guidance and coaching.
• Follow the engineering manager career requirements defined.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar course of study.
• 5+ years of experience as a developer.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Strong Collaboration and Communication Skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Working experience in TypeScript.
• Experience with Jira software.
• Knowledge about crypto-space.
