Backend Developer (Python)

Our client’s first application solves the primary bottleneck that has prevented DAOs, despite their massive financial resources. From achieving web2 scale: acquiring and deploying decentralized talent at scale by automating the screening and acquisition of talent via pooled time tokens, which become a liquid and easily deployable DAO Treasury asset.

The Role

You will build the ecosystem of products and backend systems from the ground up using software engineering best practices. You will also work on integrating our products with various blockchains allowing users to seamlessly issue their own time tokens and exchange them for a variety of services. You will work closely with the CTO and a small team taking ownership of important projects from the get-go.

Skills & Experience

Essential requirements:

• 5+ years of professional backend Python experience
• Have taken multiple products from idea to production
• Experience architecting complex systems, including AWS architecture
• Best practices around the whole software lifecycle from system architecture, deployments, monitoring, CI/CD
• English fluency (verbal & written)
• Experience with remote work at startups

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
• Frontend development experience
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or related subject
• Smart contract development experience
• Familiarity with Terra, Solana, and Avalanche ecosystems
