CEO / Co-Founder

Our client is developing a product suite of infrastructure chains that are designed to work together and with each other. The original environment for building out this vision was PolkaDot. They are now looking to build it out in the Ethereum security domain. ZKsync technology is used throughout to secure the operation of the chains deriving security from the base layer Ethereum Mainnet.

Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Co-Founder

Role Overview: The CEO / Co-Founder will provide the visionary leadership necessary to ensure that the protocol & chains reach and remain at the forefront of the rapidly evolving blockchain technology industry. As the main face of the company, they will represent the brand, values, and mission to partners, developers, investors, and the broader public.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute the company’s strategic plan, keeping it adaptable and relevant to the ever-evolving web3 landscape.
2. Operational Oversight: Oversee all operations and ensure the company is consistently moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives.
3. Stakeholder Management: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders such as investors, developers, partners, and the broader web3 community.
4. Fundraising & Financial Management: Secure necessary funding to advance the company's vision and ensure efficient capital allocation for sustainable growth.
5. Team Building & Leadership: Build, motivate, and lead a high-performing team, ensuring a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
6. Product Oversight: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure the protocol addresses key developer needs and remains ahead of industry trends.
7. Marketing & Public Relations: Serve as the public face of the company, representing it at conferences, in media interviews, and other public forums.
8. Risk Management: Identify potential challenges and establish strategies and systems to mitigate risks associated with the protocol and broader business operations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in a CEO or similar executive role, preferably within the blockchain, web3, or technology sectors.
2. Deep understanding of blockchain technology, web3 principles & security, and the challenges associated with cross-chain interactions, ZKsync technology, Ethereum etc.
3. Demonstrated ability to formulate and implement strategic decisions.
4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
5. Proven ability to build and lead a successful team.
6. A track record of successful fundraising and financial management.
7. A visionary mindset coupled with a pragmatic approach to execution.
