Chief Operating Officer

Join the leadership team for a super ambitious fintech startup and lead the company towards the strategic growth by developing strong relationship with the existing and new customers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance, operations, HR and IT functions
• Responsible for controlling, accounting, consolidation and liquidity management
• Preparation of monthly reports, analyses and evaluations
• Relationship management between stakeholders (management, investors and banks)
• Yearly budget planning and controlling of implementations
• Improvement of controlling processes and structures
• Set-up of operations structures and processes in order to improve efficiency
• Implementation of new software to digitalise and support internal processes
• Support preparation of annual financial statements (HGB), consolidated financial statements and tax audits in cooperation with tax consultants and auditors
• Creation of operational plans for the commercial management of the company
• End to end management of strategic projects

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following skills:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
• Significant professional experience in a leadership position, preferably in Financial services sector
• Experienced in setting up and improving reporting and controlling processes
• You have a strong understanding of scaling and automating internal operational processes
• Excellent Stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Business acumen, Effective organizational and negotiation skills
• Top-notch presentation and communication skills
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a strategic outlook
• You are hands-on, motivated and have an eye for detail
