CTO / Engineering Lead

Our client is building the world's first play-to-earn esports tournament organization and streaming app for mobile games with payouts in fiat and NFTs. We're essentially building a play-to-earn tournament layer that can turn any preexisting skill-based mobile game into a play-to-earn app that features unique, one of a kind NFTs generated on-chain for each tournament.

We're partnered with some of the biggest NFT projects in the world and building on EVM with a multi-chain deployment strategy.

We are seeking an experienced, creative engineering lead to join our team full-time and oversee overall product development from A-Z for both mobile and blockchain development. You will work with the C-suite and a team of super talented, passionate mobile and blockchain engineers, taking full ownership of leading day-to-day technical development of the product.

Your job will be to ensure the successful launch of a mobile app on both Android and iOS that allows users to organize their own mobile game tournaments and stream them live, with payouts in our native token and NFTs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product development end-to-end
• Oversee all aspects of technical development, which includes mobile app development, streaming integration, UIUX design, api development, payment / wallet integrations, and blockchain development / integration
• Manage multiple development teams in parallel, including mobile and streaming developers, UIUX designers, and blockchain / smart contract developers
• Coordinate with Agile Delivery Lead to keep development timelines on track
• Coordinate with C-suite to ensure product vision is aligned with development

What we're looking for

• Highly organized technical lead / project manager with extensive experience leading multiple teams in parallel
• Excellent communicator who is capable of managing multiple team members and ensuring that they are always pushing development forward
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who can come up with innovative solutions to complex technical problems
• Works well under pressure
• Passion for gaming / esports, mobile development, and blockchain technology
• Proven track record bringing products to market
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology highly preferred
• Experience / fluency in Flutter and/or Solidity preferred
• Experience developing streaming products would be a major plus
