DevOps

Our client is an application-specific capital management blockchain that runs self-governed vault-based investment strategies.  

Eligibility and skills  -

1. 3+ years of professional dev-ops experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
2. Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI)
3. Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering
4. Expertise with one of the cloud-like AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda), Google cloud, or digital ocean.
5. Very good programming skills( shell scripts, python, etc.) to quickly develop dev-ops scripts, tools for testnet, and mainnet. And the ability to learn new programming languages as needed by the project dev-ops.
6. Strong understanding of DNS, TCPDUMP, CDNS, SSL, Git, Firewalls and networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, VPNs, etc),  and system administration in Linux environments.
7. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation), and monitoring tools like grafana, and Prometheus.
8. Effective communication skills
9. Bachelor or master’s degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience.
10. Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
11. Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
12. Genuinely interested in blockchain and crypto technologies and independently research and learn relevant dev-ops challenges in this field.

Roles and responsibilities -

1. Explore in-depth cosmos-sdk, and tendermint-based infrastructure secure deployment, monitoring, and analysis.
2. Build alert and escalation mechanism for critical testnet and live issues.
3. Constantly analyze the testnet and mainnet data for the development and business team. And writing simulation programs.
4. Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
5. Constantly monitor the testnet and mainnet for security issues, technical issues, or business-critical live issues. And escalate the relevant team with minimal time delay.
6. Regularly come up with extensive and innovative test cases and testing methodology.
7. Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
8. Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.
