Head of Development

This is a key tech position in the blockchain applications & platforms space. Leading the development team of Crypto Exchange Platform, Fintech & Block Chain to build & support applications and platform enhancements. The role directly reports to the Director of Applications & Platforms.
Our client is seeking a special candidate who has already worked and developed Crypto Exchange Platform, FinTech, Blockchain environment in a fast-paced technical platform environment, (high frequency, low latency & high security).

The candidate will be experienced in Full Stack Development, SDLC (DevSecOps / CICD, tooling), cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Using your technical, operational skills to develop and enhance applications
and platforms.

The candidate must have extensive knowledge across a range of technologies including core Blockchain development, Mobile Apps, ECN, Cloud DevSecOps, CICD, tooling, agile sprints, and releases (SDLC). From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our SDLC, Digital, Applications, Platforms, architecture, ECN (electronic communication networks), along with an impact on our overall growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Degree (minimum Bachelors) in Engineering Sciences or Computer Software engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years as Head of Development Managing CRYPTO Fintech Development Teams
• Software Development Managerial Experience of at least 5 years (managing team size of 30-40 technology staff/resources)
• Minimum 2 year experience in Blockchain development on apps, tokens, exchange & ledgers (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in FinTech and or Blockchain arms of either Big Banks, Big Consulting, Data Bureau, or FinTech Startups.
• Minimum 5 years work experience as DevSecOps, SDLC.
• Overall experience 16 – 20 years a minimum
• Extensive experience in architecting enterprise applications and platforms on public cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Good cross team communication skills.
• Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment.
• Bachelor’s in engineering sciences, software, IT, or relevant discipline.
• Certifications (preferred) in Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), OWASP, InfoSec, Cyber Security
• English (Fluent)
