Junior/Mid-level Site Reliability Engineers

Our client are passionate about building software that solves problems. They count on its site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower its users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As they expand its customer deployments and internal Developer teams, they are currently seeking a JR SRE to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. Specifically, they are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences at every interaction. They will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet the customers' needs.

Objectives of this Role

• Run the multiple environments by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar course of study.

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Administrator or similar software engineering role

• Good knowledge of Python or any similar language

• Experience with container technologies (preferably experience with Docker, Kubernetes

• Problem-solving attitude

• Strong Collaboration Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience Working in AWS

• Experience using CloudFlare

• Working Knowledge on Blockchain as DevOps
