Manual QA Engineer

A fast-growing and promising startup is looking for an experienced QA Engineer that develops a new DeFi ecosystem. The ecosystem consists of different platforms and projects that aim to make crypto more accessible and friendly to people worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining and improving the testing process to ensure the quality of our deliverables
• Gather and analyze testing requirements, and plan testing process, produce concrete testing plans and test cases
• Actively involved in the process of requirements review, test case design, quality assurance, function launching, and issue tracking
• Supporting developers in reproducing and troubleshooting defects
• Drive continuous improvement of the testing process and promote automation testing
• Assist internal and external personnel in conducting system interfacing testing
• In the future, participating in establishing automatic testing procedures by adopting testing tools and writing testing scripts to ensure the reliability of the testing process

Requirements

• 5 years or more working experience for web-based applications
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTTP, API, JSON, RPC)
• Solid experience with testing REST API, GraphQL, and microservices integrations
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Ability to work independently, with little supervision
• Good communication and expression skills in English. A team player with strong execution ability.
