Partnership Analyst

Our client serve some of the largest metaverse gaming guilds. They are focused on building a thriving global community of players who are passionate about gaming, DeFi & blockchain technology. The business is currently growing at a rapid pace, and we are exploring different ways to invest in the Play2Earn and DeFi ecosystem to bring more opportunities to our community. The organization is headquartered in Singapore with other locations across Thailand, Malaysia and SEA.

The position is for a Partnership Analyst to join our Games Partnerships and Investments team. Reporting directly to the Partnership Manager and CEO, the role will be responsible for assisting with partnership efforts with upcoming Web3 games and DeFi protocols. The role will include onboarding new partners, negotiating investment allocations, research, as well as maintaining and supporting existing relationships. You will be tasked with creating connectionsand meaningful relationships with key industry leaders, onboard contributors and deepening existing stakeholders’ engagement with the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying Play-2-Earn and upcoming innovative web3 game projects and DeFi protocols that synergizes with the organization.
  
  
• Grow the organization’s relationships with Play2Earn games and DeFi protocols, including fielding inbound requests from projects, reaching out to projects who we are interested in working with, and deepening current long-term relationships.
  
  
• Research and speak to projects to understand the economic models for their game to determine what value we can bring to their games and if the game fits the organization.
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights coupled with a deep understanding of both player behavior and Play-2-Earn ecosystem to deliver high ROI partnerships.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore or willing to relocate permanently.
  
  
• Experience and understanding of blockchain with prior gaming experience.
  
  
• Deep understanding and insatiable curiosity of all things crypto gaming, blockchain &
  DeFi.
  
  
• Strong financial acumen (mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, data science
  or other relevant fields). Prior experience in the industry is not a requirement but will
  be considered advantageous.
  
  
• Have a niche specialization or field of interest (DeFi, Metaverse, Yield farming, P2E
  gaming, NFT trading, etc.).
  
  
• Strong data-driven approach to building well-articulated business cases that catalyze
  new opportunities, with an appreciation for ROI, and operational requirements.
  
  
• Excellent communications skills (written & oral) to communicate complex issues and
  nuanced considerations clearly
