Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Keeping accounting records of a company - oversight of sales and
purchase invoicing, including all accounting functions (Sales Ledger,
Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, Expenses and Reconciliations) - Compliance - involved in the annual audit and in the annual statutory
accounts as well as tax returns submission - Cash & Banking - responsibility for banking systems and ensuring all
appropriate controls are in place. Oversee liquidity in the business and
invoices issued timely; debts are chased and payments out managed - Payroll - Ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and on time and that
all payroll and pension filings are completed correctly - Provide financial information to Group finance team
- Ensure you remain up to date on industry changes and changes in
regulations. - Respond to tax and accounting-related issues in accordance with
Sweden legislation. - Coordination with Head of Group reporting and budgeting, which
includes establishing of accounting policy, participation in budgeting
process and provision of regular reports - Participation in establishment of internal controls on accounting system
as well as perform internal controls in accordance with corporate
standards. - Participate in implementation of ERP system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a public accountant - As a plus – work experience with in international holding companies as
well as listed company; - CPA/ACCA certification is a plus.
- Previous work experience with SOX is a plus.
- Outstanding tax knowledge of local regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office, working with
NetSuite is a plus. - Proactive, able to work independently as well as on a team, good
communication and organizational skills.
