Senior Cryptographer

The ideal candidate is an expert applied cryptographer with 5+ years of experience in the field of applied cryptography. A deep knowledge on not only the basic cryptographic implementations of blockchains (Elliptical Curve Public-Secret Keys and Signatures, Edwards Curve & ED25519, Batch Signature verification, Secure Hashing Algorithms, etc.) but also with a deep understanding of BLS & Threshold Signatures, familiarity with, if not expertise in, Distributed Key Generation, and other advanced cryptographic concepts. Ideally the candidate has some ideas on how to innovate in the space. A knowledge of ZK Proofs, and other block space saving cryptographic concepts would be a significant feather in your hat as well.

Responsibilities

• Design and work with team to implement the best, most secure and fastest cryptographic protocols where relevant
• Design and implement the Masternode Validation Layer.
• Innovate and solve problems
• Coordinate efforts to find exploitable bugs and squash them
• Spearhead the process to audit ecosystem projects build on the network
• Answer directly to Founder/CEO
• Work well with others
• Manage a team of cryptographers answering directly to you.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in cryptography field
• Masters Degree or better (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Preferably some experience writing Rust code
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to engineers implementing the solutions
• Creative, innovative and willing to try/fail new things
• Ability to foresee and get ahead of problems in complex multi-layered systems
• Passion for security in decentralized systems
• Passion for blockchain technology
