Senior Rust Developer x 2

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative web3 company  building a secure, decentralized, and user-friendly exchange platform. Their mission is to empower individuals with the freedom to manage their digital assets in a secure and efficient manner.

On their behalf we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Rust Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of our decentralized exchange (DEX) platform. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Rust development, a passion for the cryptocurrency space, and a deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable Rust code for our decentralized exchange platform.
2. Utilize your deep understanding of blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, and cryptography to ensure the security and reliability of our DEX platform.
3. Assist in the creation and implementation of smart contracts and token standards.
4. Optimize the performance and reliability of our DEX by profiling, debugging, and refining the Rust codebase.
5. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of code.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Rust, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance (DeFi) to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
7. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to deliver a seamless user experience.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in Rust development.
3. Strong understanding of blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, and cryptography.
4. Experience developing decentralized applications (dApps) and working with smart contracts.
5. Familiarity with token standards such as ERC20, ERC721, and BEP20.
6. Solid knowledge of networking, databases, and distributed systems.
7. Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves:

1. Experience working with decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms or protocols.
2. Knowledge of other blockchain programming languages, such as Solidity or Go.
3. Experience working with popular blockchain frameworks and libraries, such as Substrate or Parity.
