As a Solidity Engineer, your key responsibilities will include writing high-quality, secure, and readable codebases, technical specifications, deployment of scripts, and more.
Your key responsibilities
- Work on the technical specifications as well as the technical roadmap alongside the implementation
- Create production deployment scripts and protocol configuration presets
- Assist the auditors in ensuring the protocol is secure and does exactly what it is supposed to according to the technical specifications
- Work on code reviews, testing, bug fixing, and general support
- Collaborate proactively with the rest of the family to transform novel ideas into game changing DeFi products
The minimum qualifications
- Exceptional academics
- Experience with Solidity development
- Experience with the development and testing of Ethereum dapps via such Javascript libraries such as web3.js/ethers.js
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, common attack vectors and vulnerabilities
- Prior experience with complex smart contract stacks built on top of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
Qualifications that make your application stronger
- Degree in a technical subject, e.g. maths, computer science, engineering
- Experience implementing complex maths in Solidity
- Experience with contract and testing libraries such as OpenZeppelin, Tenderly, Hardhat
- Awareness of the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem and large projects like Uniswap, Curve, Compound, Aave and Yearn and how they are implemented in terms of the business logic, technology and software architecture
- Knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of finance, particularly derivatives trading (interest rate markets)
