Technical Project Manager

A hybrid role encompassing both tech guru and inspiring leader, a technical project manager is instrumental in the planning, scheduling, and management of tech-related projects. An individual in this role must possess a high level of technical expertise in the field of building large online platforms and blockchain. It is essential to possess capabilities required for all project managers, including excellent organization and communication skills.

As a technical project manager you are the important point of contact for internal and external partners. You are experienced in guiding large online projects from sprint to sprint. Monitoring and optimizing the financial budget plays an important part of this position. An honest and clear vision is mandatory and of course you are a natural leader.

Responsibilities:

• Project set-up, initiation and kick-off with the entire team

• Learn underlying system technologies that are being delivered in the project

•   Project guidance and execution through all phases of the project

•  Control of the project to ensure effective decision-making and report project

  status to stakeholders and management

• Lead the project team in order to achieve the set milestones with the relevant

  stakeholders

• Add value in terms of idea generation for the ongoing projects

• Formulate a communication strategy for all project stakeholders and partners Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

• Organize and conduct standing meetings to advance project delivery

Requirements:

• Experienced in large online platform development
•  Project Management Professional (PMP) with professional project management certification
• Proven managerial experience with strong and natural leadership skills
• Interest in digital currencies and blockchain
• A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical background with blockchain industry experience is a must
• Capabilities to realize projects within time and budget
• Excellent communication skills
•  Capable of managing relationships within a team of different disciplines
• Understanding of multiple project management methods
• Business proficiency in English, other languages are a plus
• Valid EU working permit
• Willingness to travel on an occasional basis
• Ability to commute to the office in Amsterdam area on a regular basis

• You will work for a Dutch based company focused on renewable energy for Web 3.0 solutions. The main team is based in the Amsterdam region (the Netherlands) with a project team in other parts of Europe. We have an open, social and multicultural working atmosphere
• The team you work with is experienced and dedicated to build a new and unique renewable blockchain to be launched in 2023
• We offer an employment contract in accordance with the Dutch labor law; however, if you prefer to work as a freelancer, we are flexible and have absolutely no problems with this solution
• This position requires regular office times within European standards
• Working from other locations is possible, but it's very important to team up
• during the mandatory meetings at the office
